There is nothing indelicate or extreme about it. And it was certainly not thrown together. I would argue the exact opposite on all fronts. Miljard was a totally deliberate effort conceived by Mika Rättö, who served as producer of the project. The Saturnus Reality DVD documents the musicians' cabin residency in a remote location in Finland specifically to record the album. It was a concept, well realized and tightly executed. The album sounds like a complete work, entirely cohesive across the board.<br /><br />I recommend listening to the album.<br /><br />Lastly, there is nothing resembling jazz on Miljard. Icy atmospheres; yes, agreed. Icy jazz atmospheres; not by a long shot.<br /><br />Try again.
