Deafheaven at Vacation Vinyl 6/27

If you pay attention to current black metal, or at least USBM, you've most likely heard about Deafheaven, and hopefully have listened to their pretty awesome full-length entitled Roads to Judah, a shoegazey and hardcore tinged black metal album that spans four tracks and 38 intense minutes. It is with no surprise that this intensity was brought into the show on Monday, June 27th at Vacation Vinyl in Los Angeles. From start to end, this relatively small record store was packed to the brim, reached what felt like (and from the sweat on everyones faces) a makeshift sauna, all while witnessing one hell of a musical force. Anyways, here are some of my photos from the show. Enjoy. - Chase
